Relationships & Health Education - St Joseph's Catholic Primary School

Relationships & Health Education

‘But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.’
James 3:17

At our school, we deliver Relationship and Health Education (RHE) through the Life to the Full programme by Ten Ten, a fully-resourced, Catholic scheme of work that is rooted in Gospel values and teachings. This curriculum supports pupils’ spiritual, moral, emotional, and social development, helping them to understand the importance of healthy relationships, respect, and personal dignity. Through age-appropriate content, interactive lessons, and a strong focus on the teachings of the Church, children learn about the beauty of God’s creation, including the gift of their bodies and the importance of family and friendship. Our approach ensures that RHE is taught in a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.

Parent Consultation

Parents in our school can access the ‘Parent Portal’ to provide you with information, guidance and follow-on tasks to complete or discuss at home with your children. This is a fantastic tool to allow you to have a real insight in the topics your child is being taught.

The parent portal can be found here: https://www.tentenresources.co.uk/parent-portal/life-to-the-full-plus/
