Performance Table
Our school performance table can be found on the St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School page on the Compare school and college performance in England website.
It is not currently possible to calculate Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2 progress measures for the 2023 to 2024 or 2024 to 2025 academic years. There is no Key Stage 1 baseline available to calculate primary progress measures for these years because of Covid-19 disruption.
School Inspections
Ofsted Reports
We were last inspected by Ofsted in November 2023 and are pleased to announce that we continue to be a Good school.
Our most recent Ofsted report can be accessed on our Rating and reports page on the Ofsted website.
Catholic Schools Inspectorate
Each Catholic school receives an inspection by the Diocese (also known as a Section 48 inspection) about the school’s Catholic Life & Mission , the provision for Prayer & Liturgy and the Religious Education it provides. We received our most recent inspection in October 2024, where the school continued to be a Good school. The final report from the inspection is linked below and we would like to share it with you, as we are extremely proud of it.
Huge thanks go to all of the adults and children who contributed to the inspection process, and for your ongoing work in carrying out our mission statement of Truth, Love and Compassion.
Our most recent Section 48 Inspection report can be accessed on the Catholic Schools Inspectorate Reports page on the Diocese of Leeds website and from the link below.
Parent View
Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything. 2 Timothy 2:7
Parent View allows parents and carers to give your views about your child’s school at any time of the school year. The questionnaire is also the main mechanism for parents to give their views to inspectors about their child’s school at the time of a school inspection, including:
- how happy your child is at the school
- how the school manages bullying or challenging behaviour
If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), we will ask how well the school supports them.
The questionnaire can be completed at any time – you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.
We will use your responses to help us plan inspections. The information you provide can:
- inform discussions inspectors have with school leaders during an inspection
- help Ofsted decide when to inspect a school
In addition to this, we also publish the overall summary of the responses to Ofsted Parent View. This information is anonymised.
